We got our annual enormous sinfully chocolatey and creamy cake from one of the people we do business with. It arrives cut up into restaurant-size gigantic pieces divided by paper and frozen. You let a slice sit for 4 hours and it is ready to be devoured. One slice is enough for a table full of people. My husband pulled out two yesterday, and each of us ate an entire slice in addition to our pasta dinner.

That, in addition to the comfort eating I've been doing all week because of a sore throat and cold, has sent my weight soaring. I know it's not all true fat, but need to get back to salads for lunch and STAY AWAY FROM THE CAKE!

I really need to talk to our generous friend and suggest a nice Honey Baked Ham for Christmas.
