Well, wow!

I am doing the BSD Fast 800. And this is the end of Wk 1 weigh-in. I was actually 11 stones 12 pounds when I started a week ago, and today, I'm 11 stones 2 pounds (wish I could get Fat Secret to work in stones).

I haven't been brilliant at sticking to 800 kcal's … but I have been good at sticking to lower carb options. This week I mainly ate 900 kcal's, with one day at 800, one at 1300, and one at 1500. I'm guessing, like my own goodself, anyone on a more 'regular' diet will be shocked/uncomfortable by the very low cal diet approach, however, it wasn't as painful to follow as it sounded, until yesterday.

Yesterday OMG was I beyond everything. I so wanted to eat, drink wine. Like a bear with a sore head. Instead I snoozed in the afternoon (I had a very poor night's sleep the night before), and pottered … and had a big pull porked dinner, with oodles of green veg … which made everything feel right again.

Slept well last night, was concerned that I may have put the kibosh on any big weightless, but Hoorah. That means that from being almost 12 stones (for someone of 5 ft 2 in), that I'm now nearly 10 stone something. in a week. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Will I managed another week (it's an 8 week plan)? Who knows. Will continue to take it one step at a time. Thankfully my wiggle room would allow me to move the the 5:2 if it does all get too much. But, we'll see. So so so so so so so so very excited.
156.0 lb Lost so far: 9.0 lb.    Still to go: 36.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
