Start again from tomorrow. Have not had a good year what with the 3 major ops. The first on my spine and the metal work there. The first hip replacement that went wrong and the revision op to put it right. Here I am starting a New Year hopefully having lost the major weight over the last 4 years since I retired (3 stone) now I want to lose that last little bit and get to my goal of 10 stone. It looks an incredible task but I'll give it a try. I put on my new skinny jeans this morning and they looked great. I still have nice legs even Brian has to admit that and at age 65 by my own admission I still want to look nice and do I feel sure.

Well here goes. Tonight is the last night for a normal meal as the party has fish and chips but I have prepared the calories to include this and I will be dancing away all evening, well as much as my poor old body will allow anyway.


Have just had a look around the site and the challenges but don't think I can reasonably keep to any especially the exercise ones because of my Arthritis but was interested in the Water drinking challenge and the 3 mini challenge drinking ones and have decided to do that. You need to drink a pint of water before each meal that is before breakfast before lunch and before dinner. I think I can manage that but not the 2 litres . I might join that when I can build up a bit.Exercise will have to be as now with the walking and build that up as instructed by the Physio and strengthen the thigh muscle that has collapsed before I can do more. Also swimming, build up that, I am now on 15 lengths and well getting towards the half mile I used to do. Also the ballroom dancing, now doing 5 dances at a time and working towards dancing the for the whole of the afternoon session. Hopefully then my weight will fall off. lol

I have really good resolve I AM GOING TO DO IT!!!!!!!!
