August 15,2016 Gonna start this again. Been doing a lot of research on health, diabetes, ketosis (had my first 'keto coffee this morning). listened to a lady on Dr Bergs webinar... bottom line she now has a A1C of 4.5 No meds. NO GRAINS! Basically no carbs, other than what you get from vegys.
So I will be doing more meat and fish, not a lot, just some more, and they will be organic, free range, grass fed. So ANY carbs I get will be from smoothy, flax, chia, and vegitables.
Beer, booze... what to do? It's one thing to say Im going to lay it down, it is quite another to do so. Beer I can live w/o, the hard stuff... is hard.
Will continue with fermented foods at meals; Kombucha, kefir, sauerkraut, pickled beets primarily.
I am going off Metformin for 60 days, will continue blood pressure med... for awhile.
My blood pressure readings average 120's over high 60's and 70's
BS this morn 200. Booze, boiled peanuts, who knows. I will take readings just 2x week.
