Nothing spectacular to report. Not logging calories, not working out, but my weight is still holding steady in and around 180. Shoulder pain from a car accident has kept me out of the gym, so I might start hitting the trails again for cardio or hiking...Good outdoorsy type weather anyway, so its serendipity :)
181.0 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 2.3 lb a week

I'm talking from my own personal experience... Hiking is the best way to workout ... I never liked attending gyms I see them as a waste of money.. And when I workout I do it at my place .. These two things she been vital to the success of my transformation in a few months ..

I love gyms! I think its because I go to a local Recreation center and it's like having a second family. Reminds me of cheers where the guys/gals yell "Norm!" when you enter the room and everyone knows your name. :) Bums me out not to be able to go...But, I won't rest on my laurels and try the hiking, running thing like you mentioned. Awesome Pic btw! I'm going to make one just like that when I get the chance...I think it's fantastic and motivational. I just got up the nerve to put up some type of profile pic. Years of avoiding pictures sorta stick with you even after you've lost some weight...ty, for the inspiration and great work on the weight lost :)

The social thing seems really valuable to you D, so maybe hiking with a buddy would be a good thing to get you going. Sorry about the injury, have had some challenges with a fall this summer and ribs taking long time to settle down. Finding I need to do lots of internal dialogue to calm them as I go through my paces. Have to recognize each day's little victories, fewer pain stabs, less intense pain in the mornings.... You seem to be almost to your goal, and I have been stalled at a couple pounds short for a bit. Frustrating...feeling good about the change so not so tense about losing but still uncomfortable with know my goal weight would feel much better (or at least my clothes would feel better). Take care.
