not sure if I really weighed 218 a couple days ago, i looked at the scale and noticed it graduated by 2 lb each line. been exercising, keeping carbs to a minimum by no bread, pasta, sweets or beer, but I'm not losing a particularly large amount of weight (then again it wasn't too long ago I weight 230). My girlfriend is under the impression I'm only eating butter dipped bacon and steak, which couldn't be further from the truth, I'm actually eating about two large salads a day. In the Atkins diet website they say during induction to drink a cup of broth to replenish electrolytes, yet my girlfriend says I already have too much salt based on my fs history. If anyone's reading this, whats the right amount of salt in my diet anyway? 30 lb in 3 months seems impossible, but I'll try. i think the hardest part will be xmas at the family's house with all the delicious mashed potatoes, bread, stuffing, pasta (my mom makes amazing spagetti sauce), ect. Being a picky eater is tough when there's someone feeding you...
218.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 38.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
