I've started a detox juice fast. I'm on ...wow! it's the early morning of day 5. This means that it's been 4 full days of juicing fruits and vegetables only and I'm down 4 lbs. The first 2 days are the most difficult and that empty feeiling in your stomach can make you want to give it up but I tell myself "Just another day" and then I put some more psyllium husk (metamucil) into a glass of water or some of my juice and drink 10-12 ounces. It fills me up and saves me from my hunger pains. Days 3 I was so tired all day long and crashed very early in the evening! Day 4 wasn't terrible but I went to bed early and slept like a ROCK. This morning I'm just so happy because I weighed in and saw a 4 lb. drop in weight!! I love love love the amount of fruits and vegetables that I'm eating. WOWZA! A mega ton is how much and in every color. It's beautiful and my boyfriend and I have made some of the most delicious combinations!!
