Ah, December, December, my favorite month of the year!

Yay! This was surprising! My christmas eve goal(140) actually seems reachable. I wasn't set back that much at all by Thanksgiving, even though I though I indulged. I guess I had some good habits :D

This week was normal eating and one day of exercize (not counting walking around campus everyday). There was one night of eating out at a steak house, but that wasn't too bad, I took home leftovers. If anything, that night made me retain a lot of sodium, so that was the only real problem.

This is the first time I've been going through the holiday season since I've started my weight loss journey. Partying is okay, but my problem seems to be that I turn to salty party foods or end up ordering salty chinese takeout, which makes me gain not only calories from the food, but extra water weight from all the sodium! I wonder if there are some low sodium chinese foods I can try...or it just could be the nature of the beast.

This week, I want to aim for 142. That and one day at the gym, since I won't have my Kendo for the rest of the Semester :( (This Sunday is our last practice this year).

It's so hard to believe that I was obese at the beginning of this year, and now I have less than ten pounds left before I hit a healthy weight. It's hard to grasp, but it's exciting at the same time!
