Ah! The joy of waking up on a Saturday, getting on the scale, and being able to record a drop in weight. Beautiful.

And after a tough week, too! My start to the week was relaxing (spa retreat with my sister), but relaxing approached boredom as she then sat for six hours watching TV. I reminded myself that it was her weekend. I wanted to go by myself and walk (even though it was raining/snowing), but I didn't want to be rude. It is so hard for me to go to the mountains and not hike or do other activities. I can watch TV any time - the mountains tend to rejuvanate me and put me back on track. I did stay focused on eating right, so no penalties there.

I came back to three days of crazy at work. Too much to do, too little information compiled, too many decisions to make. I worked 14 hours on Thursday and I get to work the weekend, too. I never made it to the gym. I am sad about that.

I will make up for it today, though. I am mowing, shopping for a graduation dress for Megs, food drive and spaghetti fixing shopping at Costco, and working on cleaning out the office/den. I can't believe I was volunteered to make spaghetti for 75 people on Wednesday. I need to remind myself that prep school is almost over (she graduates 7 days from now) and there won't be anymore cupcakes, room parties, or school-related potlucks.

Wow! I have so much to do before she graduates! I need to get busy! Have a great weekend FS!
