I walked a lot this past week, which left me feeling refreshed. It has been awhile since I went walking, so I really enjoyed it. I remember when walking would cause me to go breathless, but now I can take those hills without slowing down or breathing heavy. That makes me feel proud of how far I have come in this journey!

Despite the walking, I still gained some. It amazes me how devastating that red arrow can be. I'm not too keen on this weeks weigh in, but I'm going to take it in stride and just work for a bigger loss next week. I still feel blessed, no matter what the scale says!
215.5 lb Lost so far: 87.5 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You can do this, Mousy! Look at your progress so far!! We know that we are in this for the long haul, and there will undoubtedly be ups and downs. I love that you are focussing on how you FEEL, and not letting the scale rule your mood. Proud of you!

If you are doing a lot of walking you may be building some heavy leg muscle. Add to that some fluid retention and your gain is understandable. I love my new walking ability.

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I definitely have to focus on how I feel at this point. I have given way too much power to that scale in the past, which usually leads to frustration and giving up. I am following HCB's example and making non-scale goals to shoot for each month, which really does help to keep everything in focus. And I really do hope that I am gaining at least some muscles. :) If I am, it is worth the little bit of gain this week.
