Well, setting goals are just that...goals. Doesn't mean they happen, it just means you tried to a certain extent. Sometimes, very successfully striving towards those goals and then other times...not so much. Life happens. 2 birthday celebrations and a wedding anniversary are a call for indulgence or what's the point? Not being discouraged and not quitting is the key. Could easily say...forget it...pass the pizza and that vat of pasta but that won't result in any feeling of accomplishment down the road. I'll do that and keep an eye on my weight once I reach my goal. No room for playing around on the way there. Speaking of goals, they need to be reset as I did not make the aggressive April 18 goal for my weight. So quit or reset? Let's go with reset. A little more realistic but challenging. I don't think much comes from easy goals. Celebrate small victories but set big goals. Okay so, 17 to go. Let's try 2 lbs per week for 9 weeks. New goal, reach 152 lbs by July 1st, Canada Day, but we can still celebrate the finish line with fireworks on the 4th for my American friends. Alright, enough writing, I need to get back to a healthy lifestyle...sitting here isn't it. Time for some fresh air and a walk. cya.
