MY WEIGHT TICKER BAR TURNED YELLOW!! That's a happy sight! :D (Used orange to signify yellow, since the yellow color is illegible ;p)

Alright, that's what does it! I lose weight more when I drink WAY more than the recommended 8 glasses per day (which is 64 fl. oz.)! I deduced that since I don't really get to work out on work days and my weight has been plummetting these past two days when I drink more than 100 fl. oz. during the day. Gonna try to keep that a part of my regime! Nothing wrong with being hydrated, especially if I can start the day with a smile because my scale loves me in the morning =)

Currently feeling: Highly irritated with my Humanities class...HATE it (and yes, that is a strong word, which I use freely in description of this class). Any time I'm not in school, I'm working...having trouble finding time to sleep these days... =/
The following are the reasons I am stressed and seriously need some ME time... =(

TUESDAY: 3rd major speech (rough draft) due
WEDNESDAY: working on Biology Lab Report
THURSDAY: Biology Quiz // Biology Midterm take-home test (highly involved questions), due Tuesday // Algebra Test
MONDAY: 2nd major paper due for Humanities (on crap we haven't even covered..)
TUESDAY: Biology Midterm Due // Biology Quiz // Day 1 of Speech Presentation
WEDNESDAY: Biology Lab Report Due (I think)
THURSDAY: Day 2 of Speech Presentation // Math Gateway Test

Overall throughout the day: Pretty good, glad a I got an extra workout day in this week (hardly ever get the opportunity for Mondays), but saddened that the YMCA is having a "break week" so instructors can attend classes and revamp their programs, so that means I go without my kcikboxing class on Tuesday and Thursday. =( Oh well..

On the contrary, I feel drinking excessive amounts of water is FANTASTIC for weight loss! Yesterday I drank 130 fl. oz. and the day before I drank 100 fl.oz and went from 177 lbs (2 days ago, on the 22nd) to 174.8 lbs (today)...ofcourse there are factors like stress, etc that effect this, but I haven't worked out hardcore for about 3 days, so that can't constitute for the loss....but drinking an abundance of water and getting a full night's sleep does WONDERS! (Seems you need to get abundant sleep to lose the water weight too, as well as cut out the sodium, as Kingkeld and MrsRando have mentioned to me, which are two things I need to start doing for myself!)

Firelair, I've definitely noticed the same thing. In addition, my scale shows me BF and water percentage and my better weight loss days are when that percentage is high. Today it was at an all time high of 51.1%! (3rd day in a row registering a loss).

Outstanding, Gnat, grats! Mine shows Body Fat, Water, and BMI (which I finally got out of the 29s, and I'm now 28.8 for BMI!) And while checking what my scale shows, it also showed a lower weight, so I'm gonna update from 174.8 to 174.2! =)

I agree. the more I drink the better I feel and all systems seem to run better. Izzy maybe you arent consistant with your intake. It has to be every day. Also takes approx two weeks for your body to stablize. Meaning at first you may see wt gain and you may urinate more and even feel bloated. After being consistant those symptoms go away. I try to drink at least a gal a day. Wow I want one of those scales!!

I got my scale at Walmart for about $30-$40, and since its a tool I use daily toward my goal, I feel it was worth the cost =)

I agree if it helps achieving the end result they are worth a little more expense. I bought an up grade kitchen scale because of the same reason. Thank you I will check on walmart in the morning. :)

Wow ... What a lot of work you have to get through.... I Am not surprised you are having sleep issues... Your brain must be working overtime to cope with it all. Water is soooo good :-). I have to be careful not to drink too much, as I started having dizzy spells and realised - eventually after some research - that I was drinking so much that I had "water intoxication". It occurs if you have too much water in one go - it always happened in the morning - I used to get up and drink loads. It messes up the sodium balance i your body. Now I take it easy, and try not to have too much too quickly and use salt (didn't really put salt on my food or put it in when cooking before, as my dad and hubby have blood pressure). Dizziness disappeared now :-). You are ok as long as you don't guzzle to much in one go - athletes, in particular, marathon runners have to be careful about this.

Great tip, Sk1nny! Unfortunately I have a very high salt intake, which I must try to remedy, but perhaps that's another reason why I am having such good luck with gorging myself with water! It's a great way to cleanse the system, and I have been having great luck drinking one 16 fl. oz. water bottle between every class period, work break, or workout break (usually getting 3-4 bottles down before heading home), then engulfing about 52 fl. oz. from a "Simply Lemonade" bottle that I wash out and fill with water. At home I am constantly running back and forth to the bathroom, so it works best to do it then. ;)
