I started walking with my co-workers a few weeks ago. After the first two weeks, I noticed I had dropped 5 lbs.! I don't like the heat; I don't like taking a shower at work , and I could make a million other excuses. But I make an effort, and it is paying off. I'm glad I have a boss who allows me to be flexible with my lunch hour, as I have to leave about 10 min. early to change into my walking clothes, and I have to come back a little late too so I can shower and change back into my clothes. Also, our office is not stuffy, so I don't feel awkward about just pulling my wet hair back for the rest of the afternoon. Anyway, the girls at the office are great. We push each other to make the effort to walk. I am making this commitment with myself, and I won't let myself down. Now if I can just stay away from the carbs, cookies, sweets, etc. :-)
201.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 51.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
