Somebody please tell my fat that it is going in the wrong direction! :) Not to worry, though, I plan to turn it back around this week. I walked A LOT this past week. This week, I would like to increase the strength training. I am also going to cut out cheese for the next couple of weeks to see if it makes any type of impact on me. I wasn't aware that no carb cheese still turns to sugar due to the lactose. I don't think I will miss it too much, so we will see how it goes. Happy start of the week, All!!!

Cheese can have an impact in some people causing a rise in insulin, it's not that it changes to sugar, it's that certain amino produce a similar insulin response the same as sugar.

Thank you for the clarification Mahjohn! I am very appreciative of your LCHF knowledge and advice!!

That is good advice, none of the LCHF recipes mention this about cheese, even though i thought i was researching it well. Now its time to cut out the cheese!

Lacotse (Milk Sugar) will produce an Insulin response, as will the Amino Acids, however, it is typically not enough to worry about. However, if you have stalled, and have a lot of Dairy in your diet....it would be something to cut out for a few weeks to see if you have been overly sensitive to Dairy.

Thank you mahjohn, I try to have dairy as little as possible (but more for the calories), I stick to greek yogurt for a max of 3 times a week, no dairy on the weekend whatsoever and seems to be helping more for the past 3 weeks. This advice really helped, I am constantly tweaking my diet!
