Down 3/4 of a pound at the end of the week. This is very good. I was hoping to see a bit of a drop, and this is very nice. I did 46 minutes at the gym yesterday, and I walked the 3/4 mile between my office and the main campus three times yesterday, so I'm getting more exercise (though more wear on my hurting back and knees than I really care for).

Slowly and steadily, I'm moving downwards. I can't help noticing the flab that remains. It hangs on as if mocking my efforts; but there is quite a bit less of it than there was.

One of my colleagues commented the other day that I appeared to be a lot lighter on my feet. That does seem true, but I haven't exactly cured my arthritic back. Still, while I'm not getting any younger I am certainly more mobile and I'm in a lot better shape than last year.
189.0 lb Lost so far: 148.0 lb.    Still to go: 21.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
