I am not losing weight as quickly as I would like to be, however, I am still losing weight. Best of all, I am not leaving room in my mind for discouragement. In the past, discouragement would sneak up on me. It would slowly creep in and then quickly overtake all of my thoughts and feelings. I would easily give in to that discouragement, and quickly lose sight of my goals. Discouragement would allow me to go from an 'I want this' attitude to an 'I'll never be able to do this' attitude, and finally to an 'I'm giving up' attitude. That is not happening this time around. Instead, I am feeling just the opposite...motivation. This time, I am motivated. Motivated to work hard, to stay steady, to stay focused, and to make a lifestyle change. This is no longer about just losing weight.
287.5 lb Lost so far: 15.5 lb.    Still to go: 38.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
