Brunch consisted of 3 eggs, about 7 or 8 strips of bacon, along with a whole calabasas and macho banana(plantain) fried. Tasted fantastic but hopefully a 45 minute ride on the exercycle will kickstart the metabolism enough to hold back a weight gain. Details of that to follow in a later edit to this. Look at this plate of food. I ate it all except for one calabasas square.

Rode bike 45:10 for 7.3 miles burning 309.1 calories.

Yesterday I ended up going to Del Taco for a couple of small soft tacos(beef, lettuce, cheese, flour tortilla) along with a bean and cheese cup and 3 little slices of fresh avocado(for all that good fat and taste.) Right before bedtime, I had my usual tablespoon of peanut butter washed down with about hald a cup of regular milk.

This morning my weight was down again so I have regained my footing after my "pigging out" weekend. Hopefully in the morning, I will see 176 territory again.

Also yesterday was my second straight day of a 50% increase in the time spent on the bike.

I intend to show 50 pounds plus lost in my clothes and shoes Wednesday when I see the doctor. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees that now there is a whole lot less of me than before. And that this time, I listened and acted upon his warning.

Progress on the ebook is on hold until I see the doctor and get my bloodwork results. Actually everything has been written except for the conclusion. Plus putting together an appendix with copies of my labs, links to sites, photos of meals, etc. Plus I am going to rewrite the intro. A big key to success for ebooks from my research is to have a good cover, that I may farm out.

Basically the book wrote itself. I don't know what the sales figures will be, if any, I just feel that this is my one chance to try to be a writer, even if it turns out to be dud sales wise, at least I got the story out there, which I do believe will help some who are like me, older and getting fatter due to their progressing insulin resistance.

Anyhoo, thanks for the support and good luck with your efforts to create a new you.
