I am really feeling good. This will be the third day in a row I have exercised for an hour! I think it is doing my body good. I am down 2 lbs in 2 days! I was sore last night but I spent like 5 hours shopping with my oldest daughter so that could have contributed.

I did eat last night again. Ugh. I started out with an apple. Then the pain in my leg and knee started to get worse and worse and worse so I did what I always do, numbed it with food. Caramel candys and a piece of pumpkin pie and guess what...it didnt numb the pain! I know this. Every time I hurt I know this, yet its what I do....every time. Ugh!

I did notice that when I had a cup of coffee it filled me up. So heres what I am thinking, allow myself to have a cup of coffee at night and avoid all other snacking. I have even cut down the amount of sugar I put in the coffee.

Well I am off to do my hour of exercising. Then at 4 we are having A Christmas Story movie party. The youll shoot your eye out movie. lol. We are having a turkey and chinese food also a cheese ball in the shape of the soap they use in the movie. We also have fudge. I have the bbgun and we are going to shoot things, lol. I made a few pies for this as did my husband 2 caramel apple pies, 2 pecan pies and 4 pumpkin. It started out to be just another family and us but now has turned into a massive party lol. We have about 24 people coming. Itll be fun.

Maybe with all the food I should work out 2-3 hours today!

That party sounds like a really fun time! I might have to steal your ideas and have one of those myself sometime. ;-) Now, did I miss one of your journals when you talked about your knee pain? How did that come about? I'm having knee pain myself, but it was due to running. What's going on with your knee?

Take my ideas anytime!! About the knee...I let myself get fat. I got diagnosed with arthritis in both knees at 23 yrs old. The one that really gives me trouble(right one) was banged up really bad on teh basketball floor when I was about 11. I hit it hard, it had to be drained and there started my pain. I think i shattered something then. Now when it gets cold or over worked I am left feeling like it would be better to saw it off slowly than deal with that pain for one more minute. it hurts in my low back too, shoots from there down to the calves.

Knee pain is the worst - I banged the snot out of mine about a month ago and it still hurts. Sadly, I don't have insurance so I can't get it x-rayed. Anyway - your exercise is inspiring! I need to aim for at least an hour a day, it's just hard getting started.

Thanks Lindieface, I hope to inspire, thats why I put it all out there for all to see. We too do not have insurance so I just deal with it best I can and some times I go to the chiro when I have the extra money.

Oh that's terrible! You have your pain in the same knee as I do. Yours sounds MUCH more painful, though, radiating into the lower back as well. I know (from the hubby) that back pain can definitely be debilitating. Does the chiropractor help at all with your pain? It didn't help my husband. Some days he is like an old man hobbling around from the pain in his back.

twilightmom yes the chiro really helps with my pain and if I go regularly then I dont have this pain, but it isnt cheap and the one I trust is an hour from my home.

Your party sounds like a blast!! That is one of my favorite holiday movies ... such a crack up!! Good work with the exercise. Be kind to that knee though!!!
