sonnymac's Journal, 23 September 2015

Did a lot of "grazing" on my first day off. And it seems that the large chicken salad is taking its' time going through my system. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it.

Getting feedback from friends and family that maybe it is time to stop the weight loss at 180. I have been thinking that might be a natural place for it. On the other hand, I could try to go with the flow and not worry and see what happens. Or get my doctor's thoughts when we meet again on the 14th of October.

I am really looking forward to this visit as he will have the lab results with the new blood sugar and cholesteral levels. I will finally get to see numbers attained from my efforts.
Edit: 33 minutes, 5.2 miles, 215.5 calories burned on the exercycle.

183.0 lb Lost so far: 26.0 lb.    Still to go: 3.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 11.2 lb a week

Weight fluctuations are normal. My body is on a loss schedule of 8-10 days. In between it varies a lot. Good luck with your doctor visit. You should see improvements in your lab work with the weight loss.

I feel like a catherder sometimes as we have 6, all with unique personalities. Agreed on the weight fluctuation thing. Here is what I think will happen with the numbers. The drop in the sugar average will be enough to reduce the Metformin amount but not enough to eliminate it. The trig's should drop enough to get the doctor off my back and I won't have to listen to the pitch to get on statins. My fingers and toes are crossed in anticipation.
