So it took three and a half weeks to lose the weight I packed on in six days in Ontario. This is an effective lesson, no doubt.

Now the harder work. This week has been mostly good. Effective tools: packing lunch and snacks the night before, having a super-full lunchbox so I can't even eat it all in the day, backup protein in the form of the caf's 65 cent hard-boiled egg.

Tonight is knitting and beer. One beer, one pretzel with cheese sauce, soup and a plain potato. Not terrible.
197.5 lb Lost so far: 1.5 lb.    Still to go: 12.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
