Linzynicole's Journal, 01 September 2011

I went a while without weighing myself thinking it would help my self-esteem. All it did was make me gain five pounds! Since my TOM I haven't been able to get rid of these five pounds and I don't know what to do.

I've decided to switch to a low calorie diet to help speed up the weight loss. I've been doing ok with exercising at least five days a week but not having an easy time losing it. Hopefully sticking to 1100-1500 will help me get on track.

It's especially hard when the person you live with doesn't care about what he eats so not everything around the house is 'diet friendly'. When I get home from work I go for whatever's there and the easiest to make/get so if the junk food is there I'll eat it!
135.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 20.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

It's hard to come home from work and make healthy meals that everyone in the house will love. I have that same issue. My husband tries to help out, and he honestly tries to make stuff that is good for us, but sometimes he just misses the mark totally. Besides that, he can eat whatever he wants and not gain an ounce (even though he's trying), and I have a growing 15 year old son who eats like a crazy giant. So, it's so very hard to keep on a good track for me. Sorry you are having a hard time with it. I am as well, I can relate!

Thank you for the comment. It's difficult too because he just doesn't understand what's good for you and what isn't. Like he is convinced Taco Bell is good for you because it covers all the food groups in one taco! He's insane.
