Smooth's Journal, 13 November 2009

This week has been about an adjustment to my attitude and the reactions I get from this weight loss. At this point in the journey I no longer keep secret how much I've lost nor how much I weighed at the very beginning (which, was 388 at my highest). This adjustment is more about making peace with myself than with resignation over the comments I get...I have chosen to live differently and it shows. I've been doing a lot of flying lately and how wonderful it is not to ask for a belt extender, or have people look in dread at having to sit next to me.

I've also decided to take up yoga (I would love to do Tai Chi, but alas there are no classes near where I live) to work on core strength. And, I'm going to begin exercise that involves core strength. I am indeed, thankful for being in this space.
