Everything in life is a temporary. Our weight may seem like an albatross sometimes, but this too shall pass. Be proud of how far you've come so far. Stay blessed

Thank you guys yes your right felt like an albatross alright. And I am glad its gone and thank you for praying for me,, I couldn't think of anything better. I'm just back from counseling and having some reviving mint tea. She has me working on disarming my critic's voice. This is interesting and helping me to grow even thou I'm 62 knowing I can still grow is freeing God Bless you thank you sincerly.

62! You're a youngster! I can say that because I'm 63. Good days and bad days really does sum it up. But we can always work on our attitude. Hard to remember sometimes, but always worthwhile.

Have you tried a massage or two a month? I know it seems odd to be asking on a diet site, but they actually go hand in hand. By dieting, your body is eliminating a lot of toxins. Sometimes our bodies don't easily fully release those toxins. Massage helps release those toxins and flushes them out if your system. It will help you ferl so much better. In the meantime, pick up some epsom salt from your local drug store. Draw a bath and put in 1 cup epsom salt and 1 cup baking soda.. If you want to jazz it up put 2-3 drops of lavendar. Sit and soak in the tub for 20-40 minutes, 40 being the best. This will also help detox the body. Also remember if you do get a massage, to do the epsom bath and drink plenty of water. Kerp up the good weight losd, this too shall pass. just focus on releasing the toxins and you shoud be feeling much better. i hope this helped.

I am 60 and feel better than I did 10 years ago! All of the above suggestions are great - tub soaks and massages help - but stretching and light exercise will most rejuvenate your body. I found I was sore when I did not use my muscles.

No I've been very limited and laxed on exercise when my walker wasnt broken I was doing 10 minutes of walking. and some sitting strength trainging. After pay day in a few days I'll be taking it in to get it welded if I can. When it broke I hoped it was just the thing to get me off, but I find moving harder with out walker. Alot of the sugestions you all gave I haven't really thought about. I will good options for me to look into. I'm going to try some joint suppliments. I got GOOD NEWS today 1. I'm no longer H-Plyoric Yahoo!!! BUG is gone gone gone. 2. Also I have only a 2 day stress test left and I will be all cleared to see about liquid diet and finally meet surgon who is going to do the surgery. And about being Patient wiith myself .....YOU hit the nail on the head I am so anxious to be over it all and living the life I'm climbing for...Active, healthier, Happier. FS Buddies your awsome.

I agree with all the suggestions given you but especially with what Success This Time said:ALWAYS BE HONEST WITH YOUR FAT SECRET BUDDIES :D we can only offer the help each of us need IF we are always honest with each other! :D I dont recall if anyone asked about your exercise...do you exercise? If so,be sure to use proper form. If you do not exercise then that isnt the reason for your pain. Another buddy mentioned that NO exercise can cause pain.It sounds as if you are walking but maybe you are overdoing it? Set a good & realistic pace for YOU,not too slow that its a breeze to do but not so fast that you cant continue with it. You will know better than anyone whats right for you if you listen to your body, but REMEMBER be honest with YOURSELF too :D SPROE said: We can always work on our attitude. THAT is GREAT advice because what we think about we bring about!!! Think on the good, positive changes you are experiencing & SOON you will be feeling better than ever. :D

I am concerned and hurt to think you or anyone thinks I would lie. 1. After out of wheel chair, I have excerising 10 minute walk until about a week or more ago, I broke my walker and have been hoping I'd make it on my cain now. Not working apparently and not able to do with it that I could do with walker. I know I have been negative in my posts, even thou I have been losing, I guess I am afraid of failure-and not patient with self. I get down with any delay or lack of momentum that I'll not make it after so long with no belife I could make the climb again. Sorry if I have given anyone the wrong impression... I will watch my negativity. I accept all you've said and will apply it. Thank you.

Oh no ,I wasnt implying that you were lying or that I didnt believe you, please forgive me for giving you that impression! I was just saying that I agree with what was said in others suggestions. That being honest is a giant help for anyone & everyone! Im so sorry that your feelings were hurt by something I said that was just misunderstood. Forgive me.

Have you tried seated work outs? You can find them on YouTube and can be helpful. They help the core muscles a lot.

When I started my 65+lb to date journey, I focused on the calorie equation. Like you, when I maintained the appropriate calorie deficit, the fat had no choice but to leave. But, like you, I still felt crappy every now and then; no energy; just unhealthy feeling, in spite of thexweight loss. Then I read how calorie quality is just as important as quantity. I looked at my meal log and saw I was still partaking of small quantities of "cheat foods" thinking that would help me not feel deprived... doughnuts, fried chicken, fast food. I began to see a pattern... those days I felt bad were days I ate crap. So I cut out the cheat days... and found out that when I eat clean, real, minimally processed food, I dont need a cheat meal or a cheat snack! All cravings vanished! Recommend you check out 2 references on my profile and get simple nutrtional education that will change your perspective on food. My prayer is that you will apply that knowledge and watch the FAT disappear, and delay or cancel weight loss surgery! You dont need will power once you stop taking in crap... your body will love u for it. You have already proven you can create a healthy cal deficit to lose weight... which is all the surgery does... forces a cal deficit by reducing amount you can inrake. But if you dont change ur nutrtional intake to healthy real food, you will just be a skinnier version of an unhealthy you. YOU CAN DO THIS!
