HerStrawberri's Journal, 24 June 2015

Wow. That was really hard. I can't change the number though. I can't deny it. I weigh what I weigh. Life hit, deaths, taking care of dying father, trying to do fertility to have a baby...I could list a millions 'reasons' as to why...but the plain and simple of it is I gained weight. I find out next week if our last fertility cycle worked. if it didn't, I'm back on it hard core. Not going to lie, it's been really hard going through cycle after cycle and no baby. I know I have my age against me....I just thought after a year it would work. Those drugs are no joke on your body either. Anyway, I'm not sure how many of my friends are still around...but I'm going to try to be more active on here. This is where I started and so I feel I need to go back to my basics and start again.

Weight is just a number to track progress. You're putting your feet in the right direction. You'll get through all of this. One step at a time. :)

That's how I feel too! If I can just get back on here faithfully recording, then the weight will start coming off. Here's hoping we both have a good start turn into a long-time reality. :)

Remember, you're more than what you weigh - losing weight feels great and it'll happen when the time is right. I've been through many ups and downs and you just have to appreciate the good times and hang on in through the bad - life always turns a corner and you never know when something good will pop up. Hoping you have a good outcome and wishing you well.x

I am still around and YOU are still an inspiration - you have lost 90 pounds and still maintain the motivation to change!

As far as age and kids I have a 6 and 7 year old boys and I am 50. It IS a little harder but don't give up hope yet. Just try to work on being as healthy as you can.

I am newer around here but you have come a long way. Don't give up. Basics are good and friends are great support as you well know.

D, you are way down from where you were. Still huge losses. Lots to be proud of. You can do this, you've done it before. We're hear with you, girl.

yes, at least I still have a good loss. I gotta say, though, looking at my weight history was a huge kick in the butt. But I'm not going to dwell on that. Life happens and sometimes we have no control over that. I know I didn't. Now I just have to move forward and accept what has happened. Beating myself up over it isn't going to change the fact I gained weight. Nor will it help me in any way. I'm human. Now I just need to start moving forward again instead of being so stagnant.
