I had a really good week, then we went away for a few days and then ...... I overate, had dessert, ate the wrong foods, too much carb.... Bugga!!!
If it is to be its up to me!!
222.7 lb Lost so far: 56.2 lb.    Still to go: 35.3 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 0.5 lb a week

No such thing as too much carbs. Too much calories is what you ate. You can eat all carbs and still lose weight as long as you maintain a caloric deficit.

My dietician has me on a low carbs low protein regime. Its difficult to follow, especially because I am always hungry! My metabolism is too slow as well, even though I eat a lot of veggies. I keep trying to follow the new diet, but everyday, I fail!!!

Why do you see a dietician? Unless you have some kind of health disorder, there is no need to worry about what you are eating, only the caloric intake.

Your metabolism is what you make it. Be more active and lower your caloric intake and your metabolism will adjust.

And of course you are hungry. Without any protien, I would be exhausted. Protien burns more calories in digestion and is the most long term filling food.
