madanjen's Journal, 09 June 2015

Slight drop yesterday. Hoping for a better loss tomorrow but I am assuming the gain was mostly water. Hope I am right but I am on the horse again so I guess it doesn't matter as long as I stay one course.

Hope your week began well and stay focused.

It takes about 3500 excess calories not just in your system but converted and stored as fat to gain a pound of it. Hard to do too much lasting damage in 3 days as long as we go right back to business, cut back on calories and carbs, and drink plenty of water. Extra sodium and glycogen in your system holds on to water like a sponge. Probably one of the most important things I've been educated about by folks here, it really helps just knowing that so there's less frustration in those times. You're on the road to flushing it out. Looking for the big WOOOOSH!!!

Thanks Jmb3450. I am not holding my breath and know it will take a bit.
