Ok, mmmm, don't like this up and down weight... Wondering...maybe I should only weigh in once a week, maybe it will stress me out a bit less. Lol... I weighed myself this morning. So only gonna weigh in again on Monday, and then Friday again. Don't know if i can, but let's see. Gonna hide the scale till Monday morning! ;-)

Remember, the body can fluctuate 1-2 pounds, per day, as a normal course of action - there's water, salt, hormonal fluctuations, glycogen store/restore, how well you've rested/slept, and the accompanying water (4g of water per 1g of glycogen) - what matters is the big picture/overall pattern! I also found that on days where I ate less, it was usually not until a day or so later, that the results "registered", it wasn't an overnight thing for sure. Weighing every day CAN get to you if you don't consider those factors - I did it for many, many months during my initial weight loss some years ago - and I admit, it's hard....but at the same time, it taught me those patterns. Take heart!

Thanks girl! Will remember this. Spoke to the biogenetic-girl from our local gym this morning as well, and she said basically the same thing. She also said I must try weighing myself every Monday and Friday, just to start of with. And just to take control. So my next weigh in would be on Monday! Thank for the info. Have a splendid weekend!

I do weigh every morning, but I only record once a week. I feel like if I don't weigh for a week that I could get way off without even knowing so I like to know even if it fluctuates a bit. But I know it is going to fluctuate which is why picking the same day every week to record it gives me a better tracking of how I'm really doing over all.

Take courage in this as well... if you are tracking your daily calories with purpose, that is to maintain a 10 -20 % calorie deficit daily, then the math ALWAYS adds up... you WILL consistently lose FAT week to week... no "hoping" required, regardless of what the scale says! Your diet log, if accurate, indicates you might not be aware of what your "maintenance" level cals are (TDEE), thus your intake varies greatly from day to day. Try the "fast calorie calculator" under "fitness tools" on "scoobysworkshop.com" . It will tell you your TDEE based on your activity level and your target cals to maintain your chosen goal deficit. You can manually change your RDI in FS to match this calculated target. Keep up the good work! You have the right attitude, now just dial in that nutrtion a bit and warch the magic!
