Before I head out for my walk, I just wanted to share my excitement with you all.

We have a drop! 🥹

For the first time in WEEKS I’ve stepped on the scale and it’s been lower than the previous week. Just this Thursday I got on it and it was 283. I refused to update my weight as another week of gaining so I decided to hold off a few more days.

Got a couple more walks and gallons of water to see what would happen and this morning, we made progress. One thing I do want to clarify is with drinking I was never struggling with it. I would have a few seltzer (Truly or white claw) after work and my daily smoking definitely wasn’t nicotine. Marijuana helped with my anxiety and depression but now I’m finding other ways to cope, getting back outside to nature. ❤️

Yes, I’m making the decision health wise to stop but honestly, both were getting a bit pricey, especially the drinks because I’m now sharing them (not the cost tho 😒) with TJ, as before it was just me and my 12pk lasted longer than 2 days.

One thing I am trying to do and may present itself as a challenge is daily tracking. I know I have to be in a caloric deficit, and it’s so easy to go over but I decided for now to make it easier on myself. I won’t track or weigh my fruits and vegetables.

I was tracking mentally last week and decided this week I’m going to track here because I love all the accountability, support and transparency! You guys are awesome 🤩
275.6 lb Lost so far: 7.4 lb.    Still to go: 76.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
