wahooooooooooooooooooooooooo.. bring on the 160's people!!!! lots of veggies.. tons of fluids and yummy protein. A guy at my gym said if you are on low carb diet to get ketosis strips.. (that will tell you if you burning fat instead of other stuff).. so big motivator for me.. on sunday it was yellow (no burning of ketones.. today was red.. 80% burning of ketones).. so yeah!!!! I am just ecstatic.. bring on 165 now :)
169.8 lb Lost so far: 2.2 lb.    Still to go: 44.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
losing 5.1 lb a week

Way to go! You have set an ambitious goal, but slow and steady wins. We can totally do this!

I did atkins for a while and lost about 25lbs. It works amazingly. The only reason I gained the weight was because I went backpacking for 5 weeks and ended up moving to a new country. Of course I had to test the new food haha. The ketosis strips are good and keep you in check. When I wanted to lose weight faster, I only ate 10 carbs a day, which isn't much at all, but it works. Let me know if you need any advice.

thanks guys!!!!so far so good 168.0.. today.. i wasn't going to weigh myself but was nervous that the 169.8 was not accurate.. so i just double checking.. and poof 168.0... :) so totally pumped!!! :) i really want 4 weeks of no cheats.. i breaking it up into 2 week chunks for my mind to wrap around!!!! it seems doable when i say 2 weeks at a time :)

honestly, what always helped me not cheat.. and in 6 months I never once cheated, was the fact that it takes 3 days for your body to go back into ketosis. Thats 3 days, plus the 1 day you cheated.. its 4 days wasted. Just one bad bite can make you waste 4 days, and in 4 days you can lose alot of weight, I just didn't think it was ever worth it.
