SOOOOOOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATED!!! Just when I think I am doing so well, BAMB, the weekend comes! I love the weekends because I don't have to work, but it obviously kicks my butt on the eating! I thought I was doing so good, I played ball again Saturday so I packed all my meals for the day, did so great eating, Sunday we went to a show and I had a little popcorn, which isn't bad, I never have butter on it, but then I weigh in and haven't lost anything! EEEEEEERRRRRRRRR!! I am so ready to just say I am done and there is nothing else I can so about it, but NO....I won't do it, I am going to jump back in and see what this week brings! I just don't understand it.....I know I am not exercising as much as I should, but I am doing at least an hour a day and it still doesn't seem to make a difference....I even did 2 a day both Saturday and Sunday....nope, nothing! I can't seem to get past this weight and have been here for about 3 months!!! What am I doing wrong...I have a great mind set and I want to do this, so why can't I do it???

Meals for today:
Breakfast: 1 cup cheerios with fat free milk and a cup of OJ
Meal #2: Fruit Smoothie
Meal #3: Small Salad w/ Fat Free Catalina Dressing
Meal #4: Turkey Burger and brown rice...

Exercise: Got up early today, that was my main goal and did 15 hard minutes on the elliptical...I am trying to get more, but was proud of myself for the 15 minutes. Will go to the gym at lunch and either lift or do more cardio....

Hope everyone else had a great weekend! Smash on!!!

I think you have hit the plateau. It happens with all the people. This means that even if you eat very less or do whatever, you will still maintain the same weight. Your body is very happy with the intake and expenditure of energy and wants to keep you the same. Don't worry, you can small changes in your diet and you can come out of it. Take 6 meals instead of 4. But balance the quantity. No Rice please. Do burst type cardio (fast slow fast slow - on tread mill). If you are doing weights and if you are doing rapid sets and reps, slow down. Slow and steady is a better way. All the very best. Don't loose heart.

Keep your good attitude. At least you didn't gain that's important. Stay on track, you will be fine. You could always try Phase 1 of the FSD to break the plateau. Good luck!!

I know this sounds weird but maybe you are not eating enough - I remember when I use to work out a real lot the weight just stayed put and I had to add more calories - I would try added more protein and rice.

You could have been writing for me! I am getting discouraged too but when I look at what I am doing, I know I am not giving it my all. Please don't get discouraged, you are doing so well, keep it up!

The one thing that was suggested by a nutritionist to me was if you are working out so much (an hour a day) - add at least 6 oz of more meat to your diet - meat will speed the metabolism up and also turn fat into muscle. Maybe try adding some meat to your salads that you have for lunch for a week and see what happens..
