Happy Memorial Day week!

About 5 weeks into cut (13 lbs down), still feeling strong in the gym and starting to see changes in the mirror!
197.1 lb Lost so far: 0.9 lb.    Still to go: 12.1 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

My cut nutrition is very similar to the way I eat on a bulk or maintenance. I always try to get 175 to 200 grams of protein. I then try to get 25% of my daily calories from good sources of fat, this is very important for hormones and production of testosterone. Then whatever is leftover is carbs! Carbs are extremely important during a cut because they provide you with energy and have been proven to help slow muscle breakdown and promote muscle growth! And keeping as much muscle as we can in a cut is the challenge! Hope this helps, it takes a little to figure out what foods work best in this plan but once you get it it’s real easy and you feel great!
