We all need a little downtime once in a while, as long as it is not too long. I have found being consistent over the long term with little breaks like Christmas Days and birthdays has been far less stressful than trying to maintain the excellence 365 days a year, and the overall trend is still definitely in the right direction. So enjoy the memories of a relaxing break, don't beat yourself up over it :)

There is no quick loss program available. At least not in reality and not one that is effective. The quick loss program is the program we undertake purely to make ourselves feel better due to the guilt we have deep down from lacking discipline in the days previous. The quick loss program helps us rationalise our former eating habits whilst in the hotel or anywhere else, albeit it lacking discipline. The quick loss program helps us to minimise the consequences of our actions, and even blame (sometimes) others for our actions, but not always. The only person to blame is us. The quick loss program satisfied the need for short term compliance / conformance to weight loss goal;s, however, the quick loss program does not satisfy the long term commitment to sustainable weight loss - real weight loss with lasting results. Forget all the short term bullshit and build your capacity for firm commitment to long lasting weight loss through dedicated and disciplined application and effort. Yes, I know it is hard, bloody hard and sometimes you just want to walk away, give up and find the magic pill. This is the time when you separate yourself from the rest. Go hard or go home - it is the only way. The weight you lose 'quick' is only likely to be put back on again. Your body hates that type of loss and will stack it back on as soon as it gets the chance for a rainy day (it's the body's autonomic nervous system taking over and you can't control it). Lose a bit everyday for a solid week and it will add up, trust me. All the best.

1.3 is most likely fluid more than anything else. You watch, you'll drop it off fast again. Doing great!

Thanks all for your comments and support. My overall plan is to lose 70 grammes each day, a touch less than half a kilo a week. This is an adjustment to stop the rolls of fat interfering with my knitting arms, lol.
