Sternfan's Journal, 31 March 2023

Day 2 of Covid, not much of an appetite yesterday but had a vegan ministrone soup with lemon squeezed in it and for dinner a protein smoothie with protein powder, frozen banana and peanut butter. Still was under calories for the day. Had to take 4 Advil for body aches. Just once a day but it helps.
160.8 lb Lost so far: 5.6 lb.    Still to go: 10.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thank you, trying to make it a point to stay hydrated. No chicken soup for me as I am vegetarian. Thank you for the well wishes, I’m hanging in, not too bad.

My comfort food, especially when I’m not feeling well, is a steaming hot bowl of tomato soup with lots of black pepper. It’s my veg substitute for chicken noodle soup. I hope you see some rapid improvement and are back to 100% soon!

I did end up having a can of Amy’s No Chicken Noodle soup which tastes like chicken noodle soup but vegetarian and I squeezed 2 lemons in it with a slice of Ezekiel bread and it hit the spot. Lots of back pain today so back to Advil but I have stayed in bed way too long but I needed it. Thank you all for your support. 💜
