Was amazed this morning that I had dropped like two pounds. I only went to the gym once this week. Too cold outside, any excuse will do. Now, I'm determined again to stay on track. Too often, the almighty SCALE has destroyed my mindset to keep working. I try to stay away from the scale and just do what I know is right. So often, in the past, I would weigh myself and because I might have gained a pound or so, I would give up. Today, I squeezed into my "before kids" pants. It felt so good. Tight, but good. I Will wear those jeans again and have them Fit properly ;))
158.0 lb Lost so far: 5.0 lb.    Still to go: 18.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 1.3 lb a week

Congrats on the loss! It's such a wonderful feeling to fit into 'before' clothing. You will definitely get there. Stay positive! The scale can be such a fiend or a foe - usually the latter in my case. I got a haircut yesterday (about 2 to 3 inches off). Normally I would have run to the scale to see if it made a difference (crazy, I know), but I didn't do it. It's feels good to be in control as opposed to being controlled by the scale.

LOL, Thank you Yarina for your positive comment. I didn't know anyone else could see what I wrote...that's too funny. I thought my journal was just for me to read and motivate myself. Nice to find out that others could read it and motivate me too!! Thank you and good luck to you on your weight loss. I'm not real familiar with this site, but I'm working on it
