Get well soon Jim, don't forget to eat plenty of fruits and veggies, that will really help.

Thanks Snezica. For now I've been sticking to mainly toast, ate some rice today and that didn't cause any fireworks. Hopefully the worst is over. At least I haven't been able to eat much of anything which has taken care of any Christmas over-eating and then some. See, there's a bright side to just about everything!

If you're eating only dry food like toast and rice you will get a stomach ache, then water doesn't help as much as tea, so drink that if you start feeling knots in your stomach ;-)

Thanks friends...part of the drop is from being sick, we'll see how weight levels out once the creeping crud is over. But I thought I'd go ahead and log in a weight anyway.

My best weight loss came from being sick. In 2009, I was hospitalized for nearly the entire month, and was on a "banana bag" for three weeks of that time, with NOTHING by mouth for the entire time. When I went back to food, my stomach had shrunk and I could barely eat 4 oz. at a time. Learned a lesson, no gastric bypass needed. Still maintaining small amounts eaten, just need to rev my metabolism.

Applesauce is good for the tummy if it's not too much sugar for you. Get well soon!
