I understand exactly how you feel. I have put on 2kg over the last month. I work from home and move very little due to work and tiredness. It is winter where I am based so I find that is a trigger for eating more. Do you know your triggers?, Perhaps you can work to overcome them. I'm going to work on planning meals, tracking and drinking more water as a starting point. Perhaps you might be able to put a plan together that works for you? xx

Meal planning definitely helps for sure! I do well for a couple of days and then my motivation just dips and I start to think who cares, what's the point etc. I think I need to get better at re-starting the journey instead of wallowing in self-pity. Remembering it's a long process not a short term fix. It is so frustrating though isn't it?

I think there should be option to extend trial period on noom, at least it was before. Don't beat yourself up, keep going. Don't only focus on eating, focus on improving your general feeling of content and happiness. I find that I manage my food issues much better when I'm happy and content. Do something you enjoy and relaxes you, try something creative or walking in nature, warm baths...

What did u think of noom?? Iv never tried it but don't want to waste my money to be told something I already tried myself xx

@heatherboardman noom is great for people who have zero knowledge and understanding around food, psychology surrounding food, calorie and nutrition density of food etc, it can educate you on all those matters. But, if you are like me, already know all of it but struggling to implement it, then I would say it's waste of money. Also, caloric intake they calculated for me was too small and not just hardly achievable but absolutely not sustainable. Bare in mind I have only done extended trial, before I decided it's not for me.

Thank u, Rbanhatti I have some knowledge my let down is I like my food too much so I'm thinking after Xmas just smaller portions, if I give my self a calorie amount and tell myself it's not a diet I'm hoping I don't binge which I'm also good at 🤞🤞good luck on ur journey xx
