So I weighed myself this morning, and these were my numbers, and I was about to start writing an entry about how I was a little disappointed, yes, because I am trying to lose weight and I didn’t, but that it was completely expected based on the weight I was last night.
Then I had to go to the bathroom, and not that any of you need to know or care about my bowel movements or the process in which they move, but since having the second baby, my body’s like ‘I’ll just hold onto that for a while, you never know when you might need it…’ And then it’s like, ‘oh my God, I was wrong abort!!!!”
So to summarize, when I go, I have to go, like now, or there’s going to be a bigger issue, and it’s a lot. And my husband and I have made jokes about how I probably just lost 5 pounds, So I actually decided to re-weigh myself. And it gave me the same exact number but it gave it to me very quickly, like the scale didn’t even stop to think about it. It’s like, ‘what you’re weighing yourself again this soon? Original number.’

So now my entry is going to rant about scales.
After that, I stepped on the scale with just one foot to give it a ridiculously off number it gave me something like 89 point whatever. Then I stepped on it again for real and got this:
136.9
34.5
25.3
54.5
6.2
22.7

I had an old scale that was very inaccurate. Like depending which foot you stepped on with first it would weight you more. And I would actually step on it 3 times and average it to get my weight. That scale died. This current scale is my husbands from when he lost an entire person and it is a Weight Watchers scale, so I would think it would be better. Apparently not.
I want a scale like at the doctors office that the number moves until it gets to where it stops and you can watch the number move. I guess at the doctors office it does still kind of flicker between numbers depending on the pressure you are putting on it.
Gosh dang it. I just want to know my weight.
I will average it like before…
137.0 lb Lost so far: 4.5 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 4.9 lb a week
