I started my 2nd job yesterday so I didn't have time to exercise, today is Halloween and I might just exercise after I get out of work. I tried on my costume and it fits, still slightly snug, but I'm gunna wear it anyway, lol.

I hope everyone has a fun day and a great weekend. :D

I understand the juggling jobs issue, I work 80 hours between Monday morning and Friday night and by the end of the week it is SOOOO HARD to drag my butt anywhere to do anything.. I literally talked myself into just going for a 30 minute walk yesterday and to have a steak salad for dinner not take-out. Stick with it, it is super challenging but will be soo worth it in the end! Remember to take that exercise time (no matter how much it is) for you, you deserve it! I'm sure your costume will look great!

I've been working two jobs for a couple of weeks now, and it has interfered with my workouts. I used to work out 3 days one week, 4 the next, but now it's down to just 3 each week. And it's usually the days I only work one job, but still.... While I work my second job, I am constantly walking. Yesterday, my Fitbit told me I took 23,582 steps, just shy of 11 miles of walking. Not to mention, I shed just a little bit of weight, hoping that I am done with this week long plateau. Awesome work on getting back into your dress/costume. Have a great day and a wonderful weekend!!

JD I find the overtime I've been putting in has had the same effect. I try to find excuses to get up and go to the printer more often, or soemtimes will try to stand instead of sit while talking to customers. It's not always practical to do so, but I'm trying to get creative about how I can stay moving while tied to my desk.

When I have some issues, I set my Fitbit to go off every so often. That makes me remember to get up and move. Also, I choose to fill my water bottle up from the furthest water cooler in the building away from my desk, giving me even more walking exercise. I make adjustments every day to stay on track.

JD, how do you like the fitbit overall? I was toying with the idea of getting one but wasn't sure about it.

I'm so excited for you to fit in your costume! I've always wanted to dress up like Glynda the good witch from Wizard of Oz...maybe next year!

Hey guys, working a second job is exercise enough. So don't feel guilty if you miss days and don't get in as much as you would like. Any exercise you do while working two jobs is icing on the cake (excuse the pun). It's more important while working all those hours to eat healthy and get the rest you need. Plus, you have family obligations that will zap some of your extra time during the week. I've been there and done that, so my hat's off to you. If you find the time and energy to exercise, by all means exercise, but don't feel guilty if your too tired to do it.
