Why is maintenance harder than losing????
100.5 lb Lost so far: 18.5 lb.    Still to go: 3.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.9 lb a week

For me it's because I know I can sneak in bad food and still be in maintenance range! I got hooked on sugar again as soon as I stopped calorie-counting. Tragically I have discovered good eating and lifestyle needs to be kept up to maintain the weight, and that is the tricky bit, changing several decades of bad habits!

I feel like I can relax a bit and eat more carbs.. carbs are my weakness along with ice cream…. Instant weight gain(water gain) and bloating when I consume carbs for me … as long as I can stay close to my goal weight by 2 kilos.. I’m okay with that.. fingers crossed 🤞 Thanks for your input 👍🙏🏻😊
