I made a journal entry somewhere a little bit ago cause i haven't got the knack of getting where i want to go on here. Not feeling good about myself right now because of my weight gain. I have had a lot of health issues going on but i'm not here to make excuses for myself. I would like to find a buddy on here but i don't know how. I could use some assistance on learning how to do this.
293.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 113.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

You have taken the 1st step to getting buddies. You mentioned that you wanted some. If you see a journal entry from someone you would like to be buddies with, click on their name and that takes you to their profile page. The profile page has a list of actions in green print. 1. send a message, 2. add to my buddies. Click on the add to my buddies to send and invitation to someone else. Good luck finding supportive buddies. j

I sent you a buddy request. It's easy to get down on yourself, but it will get better. One bite of food at a time.

I sent you a request as well. At first, I used the "groups" thinking I needed to find buddies that were similar in age/weight loss needs to me. I joined a "shorties" group, a "20s-30s" group, and a "vegetarians" group. I looked at people who were active and sent requests. Through the forums and just exploring journals, I now have many buddies that are very different from me and I find their journeys and support totally helpful and awesome, too!

Megmonster I completely agree. I have buddies in all stages of this journey. The ones who are in maintenance I can draw from their experienced, and the ones who are just starting I can help support. Having buddies is definitely helping me on my quest.
