So I started the WeightNot program 5 days ago, which begins with 2 days of modified fasting (you drink their powder nutri-shake things along with a couple of supplements, nothing else.) I did the fast part over the weekend, which was hard, but I made it through based on my commitment to not sabotaging myself. As of Monday morning, I had lost just 1 lb (after 2 days of just liquids!) and am holding steady at that weight. When I started my own diet last week, 4 days before the WeightNot stuff came, I lost 4.5 lbs...so I probably got a little too optimistic about additional pounds coming off more quickly. Sigh. Still, I am trying to hold onto the fact that I have lost 6 lbs in 8 days, which is kind of amazing. I have 24 more pounds to lose and I would like to do it in 56 days...when hopefully the hubby and I will be meeting up in beautiful Hawaii. No way I'm putting on a swimsuit in my current state!
145.0 lb Lost so far: 17.5 lb.    Still to go: 29.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
