You can do this Tricia! My sister started at 306 and she is now in the 270s. She lost about 20, kind of hung in the same spot for a couple weeks, then started losing again. She is following the Atkins plan. I too am on the Atkins plan, but have done them all. You find what works for you. And I have found that ANY exercise is good. (I think I dislike the word exercise more than the word diet!) My sister started with just lifting her legs off the floor (while sitting in her chair) for 5 times each leg. She was so impressed with how soon she could feel the difference that she bought herself a "stepper" from walmart. Now each time she gets up from her chair she steps on and off the stepper a few times. Doesn't sound like much, but each little bit is a step closer to where you want to be. I am so happy you are taking your first step with Fat Secret. I have learned the more time I spend here, the more aware I am of what I need to do to make myself become more of who I want to be. I'll keep you in my prayers. You just think positive and don't forget to log everything!!!! That is a lesson I am just now learning myself. I am down 30 pounds with only 57 to go. But I will get there, just like you will!!!! Congratulations on your positive decision.
