Keidrake's Journal, 14 July 2022

Tired today. Trying to get to bed earlier isn't working. lol. And it already looks like rain again today, good thing we have left over chicken and rice soup from last night. Pretty sure it'll be a hot commodity around lunch time. My teenager is going to be grumpy today too since she has to redo some of her informational essay, she left out some bits here and there that were needed. She also has a science test.

On the bright side, the farmer's market is open today. I fully plan to go pick up more of the spring mix they make, a watermelon, and enough tomatoes to feed a small army, or in my case, my family. My 5yr old thinks they're a snack like chips, and I'm okay with that. At least I am, til I find out she ate them all. lol. Might get some peaches too, and some peas. They have the best fresh, locally sourced peas. Yum.

Tonight will be leftover night, since tomorrow is garbage day and we need to empty the containers in the fridge. Tomorrow will either be pork loin or roast. And probably peas and rice. I'm more feeling the roast right now though.

I did hit my step goal yesterday. Just did a little extra walking throughout the day and on a cushioned mat. That seemed to help with whatever I've done to my ankle. Going to try and get my steps today as well with the same method.
