Down 6.4 lbs in the last 6 days. I would feel more proud of that if I didn't know it was mostly water weight. Diet wise I've been doing well and being mindful and most of all tracking! Yesterday was a hot one where I'm at. We even swam in the pool for a couple hours before we lost the shade over the top of it. It was nice, but the relief didn't last long. lol.

I have a new fish pond set up now. A friend of mine who does debris removal found a pair of large algae eaters in a house he was hired to clean out, and then someone had posted a pair of large comet goldfish that needed to go to a new home. So I took them in as well. They're in what I'm calling a small fish pond on my covered porch for now. And in October I plan to finish our large fish pond in the yard. Its just too hot to want to get out there and do any work on it. Our new orange and white fish are named Ponyo and Pudge.

I completed my bloodwork this week, but still need to get the chest xray done. I'm planning to do that Monday/Tuesday next week. Since I have to drive to the city to get it done.

Tonight's plan is pasta for dinner and we'll have friends over for an evening swim and a couple drinks. Yay for Friday and good friends!

that "water weight" was not doing you any favors. it's good to have it gone. besides, how can you tell what kind of weight you've lost? and now your clothes for better. i call that a win!

I see it in my swollen ankles and hands. Just part of life for me now. If I eat too many salty things I retain fluid and the scale goes up. Usually takes 3ish days to get the scale back down for me. I'm already on a diuretic daily for it. But I do feel tons better when I'm not all swollen, so that really is a win! ^_^
