A gain! What else could I expect eating cake yesterday. Still, doesnt seem like I should have gained over that. This sux. Guess I will bump up the exercising. I am hoping to be 158 or lower by the time I go to Alaska next friday. Would be great if I were 159 by this Saturday for my luau. What should I do?
161.0 lb Lost so far: 93.0 lb.    Still to go: 3.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Do what you know works!! Breathe deeply and relax. That is the first step. Secondly, eat good healthy foods for you. Nix the cake and chocolate!! LOL!!! Bump up the exercise if you can. Drink a ton of water. And KNOW ... that this is what our bodies do ... they fluctuate on the scale. It doesn't mean that you are on your way back to 200+. I so know how frustrating it is ... but you are doing what you need to do. I think our weight loss patterns change as we get closer to our goal weight. We don't really "arrive" because the journey, life, goes on and on and on!!! I'm in your corner and I am so proud of you!!! Not just for losing weight but for choosing to feel good about you despite all the crummy things that happened to you when you were younger!! For choosing to be a mom who is there for her children and a wife who supports her husband. Are you cheered up yet???? We CAN do this. We ARE doing this. You are just fine!!!

Thanks, I am just upset with myself for getting upset. The cake is gone! I am going to be doing more.

It's just a minor setback, and within a couple days you'll probably be right back where you were before the chocolate cake...as long as you stay the course. It might have caused a larger than expected bump today, but it will probably be gone almost as quickly as long as you keep at it.
