Did my first Tae Bo workout in a long time! Man, it felt great to be done. I was really pissed when I got to the Stretch section and discovered that my recently vacuumed floor was a little funky. :( No bother though, I should just put down my yoga matter next time.

I also learned that you should eat about 200 calories (for my weight as a lady) AFTER you work out for an hour, preferably with a 4 or 5:1 ratio of carbs to proteins. Ironically, I found this great combination by having a plain hotdog on a bun. Apparently this is best done within an hour after the workout because it helps muscle growth. I was a few minutes late, but I doubt my muscles mind.

I do feel pretty good, though. I hope I can keep this going long enough to have some success! I estimate that, at 142 now, if I lose 2 lbs. a week, I can get down to 125 in 9 weeks! That's at best, though - if I'm only losing 1 lb. a week, that's still 17 weeks or so... which is STILL awesome. I'm hoping to lose this weight by the end of summer so I'm more fit when I move to a new apartment then.
