This last pound hasn't seemed to want to go. I have been bouncing around up and down for the last while and I wonder if I haven't perhaps reached my body's optimum weight. Except for some belly fat the rest of me is well toned and I keep exercising but have not been able to do much of the aerobic type due to several minor injuries. In addition the various chores I have to do at home don't allow me the luxury of taking a solid hour each day just for myself and physical training.

I don't have a good role model in my mother who has made a cult out of being thin all her life. She is 91 and has had osteoporosis for at least the last 10 years but she is in denial & never took the pills her doctor prescribed. She has had three hip replacements and has done very little of a physical nature for a long time, not because she can't - since my father retired he does the vacuuming,the shopping and any lifting so her arms are so weak she can't even lift china plates any more. 2 months ago her thigh broke around the area of the prosthesis and she is in terrible pain. She was in the hospital for 5 weeks waiting for a solution but because of the osteoporosis no surgeon is willing to even try repairing it. They have said that there is absolutely no possibility of success and so she was sent home and continues to be in great pain. Now can can do almost nothing for herself and my poor father is doing as much as he can but I can see him getting more and more fatigues as go by. He refuses to believe that my mother should now go into a facility. I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT NO-ONE SHOULD LET THEMSELVES GET TOO THIN!
125.6 lb Lost so far: 11.4 lb.    Still to go: 0.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
