Bummer!! Weight has stayed frustratingly around the same number, give or take a little, over the last two weeks, despite me working out much more! The weekend shananigans don't help, but this weekend I was particularly vigilant, and thought I'd done pretty good.

Friday night I ate at home, and avoided all temptations in a restaurant and then a bar. (Did have a tsp of condensed milk with my coffee though, and 4-5 pieces of late night air popper popcorn with some butter and cheese). Saturday was pretty good and dinner at a restaurant, I skipped bread or any bread items and ordered a bowl of hummus with veggies. I thought that was pretty good, until today when I saw that has tons of calories and fats, and the carbs are pretty high too!!! What gives?!

Sunday was a brunch at a friend's place, and I brought a big salad and my veggie stir fry with tofu. I had some of that, some of a mixed veggie dish (skipped the bread), a cabbage dish, a few cubes of paneer in a veggie bake, and 1 piece of a semi-fried chick pea rollup (very tiny!). For dinner, again in a restaurant I shared hummus and had 3/4 of a pita bread (despite my best intentions!), and split a lebanese salad (had some oil and toasted pita chips in it). Hada fresh fruit smoothie (all fruit, little honey, no milk or icecream). All of this gained me a pound this morning.

As of today, I need to be stricter about what I eat, and stick to that plan, even if it is boring as hell!! I am going to cut almonds and walnuts out, the creamer in my coffee outside won't be half and half, but instead I'll bring the powder non-dairy one from home. And I'll watch out for eatign out. So far,NO alcohol at all since last week! Pretty good considering how many opportunities there were all around my busy weekend!

Workout has been going well. I worked out a 8-wk plan with my trainer. He was happy to give me goals and daily homework. I started taking classes in earnest, and have been fighting my fear of those classes. So far, I have taken total body conditioning, cardio sculpting, power abs, and spinning. Today I plan to sample beginner yoga. Running program has been implemented in earnest too. After yesterday's rest day, I'm ready to hit the gym today and get that body jamming!!!!

Immediate Goal: Getting under 140. The day I go lower than 140 (hopefully in a week), I want to go and buy new running shoes and new cute gym clothes!! I saw some very cute ones in pink and other cute colors at Dick's and I need some shopping therapy!!!!
144.6 lb Lost so far: 33.4 lb.    Still to go: 14.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 3.3 lb a week

Check out the Land O' Lakes Fat Free 1/2 and 1/2. It's low in calories, tastes good, and the carbs aren't too too bad. Thanks for the bon voyage wishes! (((HUGS)))
