W. 1017, 205 Yesterday, was a eat all day, compulsion day. I don't know why I would not pick up the tools to turn it around. I snoozed and ate. I did go out for 2 walks with Sadie. I took her to the vet in the morning and basically they said she is losing weight. I told them she waits till later in the day to eat but she does eat the same amount, actually more because of the constant treats and pill pockets. Dr. H said she is using a lot of energy internally to fight the cancer. Her left eye is drooping and looks really red. She has a hot spot on her lower back so they put her on Prednizone, 3/4 of a pill, because the Benadryl is not working. Maybe this will cause her to gain weight. Her stomach incisions are healing. She saw the 2 in strip I was worried about but said that would heal in time. I guess the result of the visit for me was a wake-up call, that the cancer is active and her affect is not the whole story. A terrible responsibility to have another's life or death decision in your hands. I want her to have as long a life as possible without pain. Quality of life is a tricky thing, it changes as conditions worsen. Sleeping and just being near me seems to make her happy along with some walks, etc. 6 mo. ago I would have thought this an alarming condition.

Yesterday, my back was hurting so much I did not go to Zumba. I was all dressed for it but by the time I got back from the vet's, I could hardly stand up. I just didn't think I could do it. I wish I had just tried, maybe the rest of the day would have been different. Today I will go to exercise class and then prepare for Methods class tonight. I have three sets of chapters to choose 2 from and then to read LIC 9,10 and prepare agenda. I need to be sure to have handouts for the next several classes ready. I found the movie. I want all 3 classes left fully planned by tonight.
205.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 10.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
