My first weigh in should read 175 as well. I'm pretty discouraged seeing as I don't think I've lost ANY weight. I was really hoping this diet would work for me.
175.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 55.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 25 March 2011:
874 kcal Fat: 67.80g | Prot: 40.70g | Carb: 33.57g.   Breakfast: Muffin in a Minute (MIM), water, green tea. Lunch: sugar free jello, Deviled Egg Coleslaw, Almond Panna Cotta. Dinner: subway salad. Snacks/Other: Slim Jim, Propel grape, Almond Panna Cotta. more...

Don't give up. Have you read the Atkins information? You can get a free Atkins starter package by going to the Atkins.com website. It is not the full book, but it does contain a carb book of everything good for Induction (Phase 1). Also it comes with a quick-start guide. I would suggest replacing the Muffin in Minute with bacon and eggs for breakfast. 12 to 15 of your carbs should come from vegetables. Some of the thins to be avoided right now are: bread, pasta, muffins, food made with flour, corn or any grains. Good luck. This does work but I would suggest dropping the Muffin as it does contain some form of grains and replace with eggs and bacon or something of that nature.

Atkins does work... I'm currently just about to finish my second week in induction and I've dropped 5 pounds so far. I could have dropped more if I had actually done it right in the beginning but I evaluated where I went wrong nightly for the first few days and now I have it figured out and its working. You can do it! You just have to stick to it and do it exactly right. Don't give up and if you are having trouble track your food religiously on the calorie/carb counter. Also just because pounds don't come off at first doesn't mean you haven't lost inches. Best of luck to you !!!
